Dental Lab Technician

Duties and Responsibilities: Maintains and improves patients' oral health by fabricating fixed and removable prostheses according to dentist prescriptions.

Salary: $23.80 per hour - $70,000 annual

Education: The minimum education requirement for dental laboratory technicians is a high school diploma or equivalent. Students interested in this field of work should focus their high school studies on math, science, information technology, wood shop and art. Many individuals learn how to become dental laboratory technicians through on-the-job training and by moving up through experience.

Reflection: I wouldn't like to be one because I don’t want a career in medicine so I don’t think its right for me. Also it’s working with molds and appliances for a person’s teeth and I don’t want to do that.
