Duties and Responsibilities: Medicinal
librarians are information specialists who provide assistance in finding
medical documents. Medical librarians are specialized in using databases and
reference materials to conduct research for medical information. They might
also be trained in the information sciences to acquire the skills needed to
maintain databases.
Salary: $55,690
Education: To enter the
profession, at least a master’s degree in library or information sciences is required.
A background in sciences, health sciences, or allied health can be helpful, but
it’s not necessary.
Reflection: I would like
to be a Health Sciences Librarian, because they earn a lot of good
opportunities and an economics life. Also I would like to be one of this
because I could more about health, allied health and others things.
