Memorial Day

Memorial Day is a federal holiday in the United States for remembering the people (Men and Women) who died while serving in the country’s armed forces. The purpose of Memorial Day is to honor Union soldier, who had died during the Americas Civil War. The holiday is observed every year on the last Monday of May, was formerly known as Decoration Day and originated after the American Civil War to commemorate the Union and Confederate soldiers who died in the war. Something that is interesting is that it was first known as Decoration Day, the holiday was long known as Decoration Day for the practice of decorating graves with flowers, wreaths, and flags. The name Memorial Day goes back to 1882, but the older name didn't disappear until after World War II. Federal law declared "Memorial Day" the official name in 1967.

On Memorial Day I will go to visit my aunt to her house, which is sick. Probability I will go to Tijuana to see my Dad that I have three month that I do not see him.
