Acupuncture
Duties and
Responsibilities: Unlike conventional
Western medical practice, acupuncture professionals are trained to treat the
entire individual rather than the specific illness or condition. They take into
account a patient's physical, mental and emotional condition in order to determine
the proper course of treatment. In addition to providing acupuncture therapy,
practitioners help their patients achieve balance and wellness in their
everyday lives.
Salary: $96,890 - $ 121,360
Education: A master's degree program begins the core educational training for
an acupuncturist. Most master's-level acupuncture programs require 3-4 years of
study. Eventual licensure in most states is partially dependent on the
completion of an acupuncture training program accredited by the Accreditation
Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, so it's important that
prospective students seek out an accredited program.
Reflection: I think I would want
to be one of this because, is too much of work and study. I think this have the
responsibilities of their patients to do well and their jobs. Also I think that
therapy is hard to me to know it.
