“The Six Pillars of Character”
The six pillars of character are trustworthiness, respect,
responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.

Trustworthiness:
Be honest, do not cheat or steal, be reliable, Have the courage to do what is
right, be loyal and build a good reputation.
©
Respect:
Treat others with respect, use good manners, be tolerant and accepting of
differences, be considerate, deal peacefully with anger.
©
Responsibility:
Plan ahead, do what you are supposed to do, keep trying , always do your best,
use self-control, be self-disciplined, think before you act .
©
Fairness:
Play by the rules, take turns and share, be open minded, do not take advantage
of others, treat all people fairly.
©
Caring: Be kind, be
compassionate and show you care, express gratitude, forgive others, and help
people in need.
©
Citizenship:
Do your share to make your school and community better, get involved, be a good
neighbor, and obey laws and rules.
I believe that nobody is perfect. That even the smartest person
will not follow up to these 6 pillars. We are all human and make mistakes and
keeping up with these pillars is quiet difficult.
