Medical Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities:
Medical Assistant, have the
job to interview patients to obtain medical information and measure their vital
signs, weight, and height. Show patients to examination rooms and prepare them
for the physician. Prepare and administer medications as directed by a
physician. Collect blood, tissue or other laboratory specimens, log the
specimens, and prepare them for testing. Explain treatment procedures, medication,
diets and physicians instruction to patients.
Salary:
$32,754 Annual.
Education:
Medical assistants take vital
signs, maintain records and schedule appointments in hospitals, physicians'
offices and other health-care settings. Some medical assistants perform
clinical tasks, such as taking X-rays or giving injections, depending on their
qualifications and state law. The minimum education for a medical assistant is
a high school diploma. However, some states require training or examinations
for those who do clinical work, and some employers prefer assistants with
training or certification.

I would not like to be one of
this because I really do not like to see blood, but I like to help others
people.
